Konto FX, hosted at KontoFX.com, is a foreign exchange brokerage scam.

Operating without regulation, Konto FX solicits prospective online day traders to “invest” with their platform only to steal their hard-earned money shortly after.

During the time of writing this review, Konto FX was highly regarded as an untrustworthy investment brokerage that should be avoided.

As you will soon find out throughout the course of this unbiased review, what others are saying about Konto FX are true.

Gather the facts along with an overall scope regarding the community verdict relating to Konto FX by continuing to read onward.

About Konto FX

Konto FX is an unlicensed and unregulated investment brokerage.

According to their site, they function as a foreign exchange brokerage that supports many assets including cryptocurrencies.

Among the category of assets supported would be pair options, stock options, indices and commodities, currency pairs along with cryptocurrency pair options.

Since Konto FX functions as an option-based platform, their investment platform may employ derivative trading values for some of their assets which may reflect deviations from real-time market values.

Trading Platform & Features

KontoFX_Review

Konto FX is most notorious for marketing their platform is a Bitcoin, Ethereum and other digital currency investment haven when in reality they just steal their investors money.

To add, Konto FX doesn’t deviate much from other scam brokerages that we have encounter.

Like with most scams, Konto FX employs an out-dated and non-proprietary charting solution and investment platform into their site structure.

They go on to claim that they use “state-of-the-art” technology but sadly that is most definitely not the case.

Apart from offering a foreign exchange style of trading, Konto FX doesn’t not have much to offer since they don’t employ a Copy Trader, Demo Accounts, Strategy Center or anything of investor value unless traders deposit much more into their platform.

Sure they offer a standard run-of-the-mill educational center but it was feasibly constructed and includes fundamental information that can be found anywhere on the web.

As we previously stated, Konto FX requires a minimum deposit of $250.

For the time being, Konto FX currently offers the following trading accounts:

Self-Trading Account

  • Trade on your Own
  • Spread from 0.6 pips
  • 24/5 Customer Support
  • Access to their Online Academy

Auto-Trading Account

  • 24/5 Customer Support
  • Access to more thorough online academy
  • No promise of ROI and guaranteed returns
  • Konto FX Robot trades automatically for you

Social Trading Account

  • 24/5 Live Customer Support
  • Copy trading features become available
  • Allegedly best for inexperienced day traders

As you can see, Konto FX incorporates an incentivized platform that aims to make consumers deposit as much into their platform as possible yet they don’t share any information relating to minimum deposit requirements.

However, Konto FX doesn’t stop there.

According to consumers, many of them have experienced high-pressured sales tactics in the attempt to get them to deposit more money into their platform.

Who is Behind Konto FX?

According to KontoFX’s Terms of Use, “KontoFX is owned by NTMT Transformatic Markets OU, Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, Parda tn 4, 10151 and operated from Northside Business Centres, 2nd and 4th floor, BC91 Office building, Vaci ut 91, Budapest 1139, Hungary.”

When investigating further into NTMT Transformatic Markets OU we were unable to verify the authenticity of this corporate entity.

When researching their alleged address of “Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, Parda tn 4, 10151” though we find that the address is associated with a number of cryptocurrency entities such as the following:

  • Local XE (LocalXE.com)
  • Memority Platform (memority.io)
  • Vemarkets (vemarkets.com)
  • Gozo (gozo.io)

That same address also matched the corporate address of Grau International Ou, which is a verifiable corporate entity under registry code 14482296.

Whether Konto FX is trying to portray a fictitious corporate entity as legitimate we are unsure, but that is a common trait we encounter when reviewing brokerage scams similar to Konto FX.

Konto FX Complaints

Konto FX has been declared a scam by the majority of online review portals.

Online review platforms that go on to support Konto FX are nothing more than scam operations themselves likely getting heavily compensated off of your deception.

According to TrustPilot, Konto FX reflects an average rating while below are some of the most relevant reviews we found across the net:

“Doesn’t matter whether the increase your funds they will NEVE let you WITHDRAW any funds!!!”

“Invested with KontoFX. Dead set scam.Dante is my contact and haven’t heard from for a couple of days. Don’t go anywhere near them!”

“I watched their video and thought it looked very legit. Just sorry that I didn’t do my homework properly. When I transferred the 250 Euros, I got a very frantic call from a support agent saying that my husband must immediately send them ALL his money and in that minute I realised I was scammed. I did not open the account because I do not want scammers to have access to my private details but my money is lost. Stay away people! Bad unregulated company that should go to jail.”

More relevant consumer reviews can be found at ForexBrokerz.

It should be made aware that Konto FX may appear to be leaving positive “user” reviews on their own behalf at TrustPilot, make sure to swift through reviews cautiously if so.

Is Konto FX Legit?

Given the lack of unverifiable ownership information coupled with the excessive complaints filed against Konto FX we do not believe their brokerage to be legit.

    Stay off KontoFX
They almost made away with my £68,450 but I discovered clarawilliams2095@gmail. Com who had helped some victims get their money back. I gave her a try and to my surprise, she recovered both my deposit and profit.

Everything said by others is true for my situation. I didn’t do my homework and am now paying for that. Despite multiple emails and phone calls seeking a withdrawal, no response. I thought they were operating out of the UK, so asked the UK Financial Conduct Authority for assistance and they are unable to help because they don’t have jurisdiction. You can see the information they have on file for these scammers at register.fca.org.uk/ShPo_UnauthorisedFirmDetailPage?id=0010X00004G49jtQAB

I, too think I have lost my money. I was supposed to deposit 1000 euros last Friday and the day before somebody called me pretending to be Alex, my account manager. They went through my account through anydesk.com and I let them see my money that is available. That guy tried to transfer all my money into the account of Jubiter which is supposed to be a bitcoin trading company. My bank did not approved because he was trying to clean out my account and because it was an online transaction using my debit card, I had to use my second electronic password and the number was changing every 30 seconds. so it went on and on even if he reduced the money. I am lucky my bank did that. They were not able to transfer my money. The next day the guy whose name was Alexander Voss called and asked if I am ready to transfer money. I told him about the other guy who was unable to transfer my money into their account. He said he does not know about them . So they are all in a hurry to pinch your money. He will call me again tomorrow to see if I will transfer money. I am glad I read all these feedback. One feedback I was reading was telling me it was a legitimate company but I am not convinced. Glad I have seen these feedbacks. thank you to everyone for posting.

Now KontoFx have another scam website UproFx, exactly the same pattern with a fake platform, not connected to any market. With those websites your deposits are stolen on the spot when the deposit is done. My bank could see the funds were directly transferred to a Bulgarian bank and other countries banks, for ending up at some offshore bank ob the other side of the world. Your funds will never been seen again.

make sure you don’t invest your money at KONTO FX you will never see your money again there is a list on their review page on facebook with all the names of there brokers, they try to talk you down intimidate so you don’t write a review telling the truth about them.
they don’t use a real trading platform it is just like a demo version nothing you see there is real soon as the money gets on there account it is gone! the FCA warns from these brokers, there is a whole lot of bad reviews on twitter about them if I would found them before it could have saved me a lot of money what im now trying to get back from them but now they don’t even answer the emails.

The brokers from KONTO FX seem to use many different names like Edison Lewis Allan Yada and A Marc Schuster pretending to be a lawyer Simon McCormick, Nick Hansen, Vivian Pears, Chris McGuireand so on, there are probably a few not named here but be sure they are all the same , soon as something goes public they just make up a new name and continue scamming the people, with always the same scheme where you make profits long as you keep adding up more money but soon as you want to withdraw they make you lose the money with negative trades and commissions until nothing is left and claim it was a bad day on the market or it is the investors fault because he withdrew money from the market and so on, it always ends with an empty account. be aware that they don’t have a license to trade so it is a demo account on a nice website topped up whit the right amount to keep you interested and investing and to hide that the money was stolen in the minute it got transferred to them
beware also from these fake news ads about Dragons Den, Shark Tank, Höhle der Löwen, Elon Musk, and the bitcoin trader/revolution they are all scam and are only designed to lure you towards these fraudulent brokers

  9. Paul

they are known for putting the account in minus on purpose, and then even threatens the investor with legal consequences to pay out the minus, they use a lawyer called himself Simon McCormick he is really rude and disrespectful but no real lawyer it is just another trick they play on you to make more money. this company is not licensed or regulated so they can’t even place trades for investors and most certainly they are never able to take legal actions against anyone to be sure you don’t get scared and persist on the money you invested they stole it with there Fake trading platform and this is a scam!

  10. Daniel

I believe they actually don’t trade at all they control all figures you see and all there apps and input it’s totally a farce, they make it look
Like they do, I mean why would they? there criminals period! trustpilot know about them and there pathetic defences on trustpilot, really company’s would never have to defend themselves that much ,but they must not see that surprising a fool can see by there very actions something is wrong, continually review them ! This will flood the web they don’t want that, I have done a lot and made calls ,past info names and numbers to correct people, there days are slowing, the scam tv show ads are being lifted so this dirty scum male who runs it and the dirty scummy staff will
    Go 👍 all fact !

    Hi I am Gary watts
    Hi I am Gary watts
Kontofx is a scam I have been with them since August, I lnvested £250 pounds to start and it seemed like they were making good profits so I lnvested another £750. I then added a further £1000.i asked to withdraw money from the account and £200 was credited to my bank account. I was contacted again by my account manager Chris asking me to take out a loan of £26000 because of a big event about to happen.
I decided to take out a loan of £10000 and added to my account, through coinbase as advised be my account manager. We agreed I would receive the loan repayments every mouth. I received 1 repayment and now I can’t contact them
the profits were good to start with but then they stopped.
do not invest your money with this company thay are very convincing but full of s*** I have recently found out my account manager uses at least 2 different names and works for at least 2 different companies
This is a joke, they report me to trustpoilot within minutes of posting a review. They don’t want others to realise they are a scam. All I can hope is that trustpoilet see my evidence ( of which I have a multitude of)
After posting my review i did receive a call stating my account manager no longer works there. What can they do to pacify me and stay with them, I told the guy in no uncertain terms I no long want to stay with them, all I want is the money I put in, not worried about the profit. I withdrew concent to use my account.
Now they are trading my account and losing all my money. funny that they have not tradeed my account for 7 weeks but now they choose to on a deliberate loosing streak.
Every trade they have ever made on my account has allways been under 3 minutes, today thay have opened 5 trades on the same currency and just left open that are draining my account so that they dont have to give my money back, they are currently losing 2000 pounds almost 800 pounds are swaps.

Hi Gary what did you see? how did you see that they were even trading ? From there platform there launch to you ? I’m interested in your experience as I am learning a lot about them from
Other unfortunate people, I Am collecting info for a file to pass on to a fraud agency that have started a case and are asking me for as much as possible

      • gary watts

        Through the platform online.
        I have screenshots of

        • Danneille

I see yes same as me then it’s a fake platform designed to make you thjnk there trading
They add to your deposit like
They did with me ,I thought I made £350 in a hour after the deposit but Of course not , they don’t trade they can’t !! there just a non English call Center.

  12. Daniel

Fact thru investigation ! Konto Fx is not real it’s a scam company, they give themselves positive feedback on trust-pilot thru fake accounts where they will reply to negative feedback with what seems to be reasonable excuse all very convincing ,but it’s slowly coming to an end! they use fake names, and pre recorded discs of fake chatter in the background suggesting it’s a busy call Center or trading platform, id theft thru asking for your id, driving license etc,I personally had to endure creepy phones calls from a male who was talking to me like he was my dad, even asked about my kids !!!!!!when they change there trading name I and my team will start all over again to advertise them on the web every where we can, I’m know they surf an check out there negative reviews daily, my contact there told me lots!! ,, soon we publish them in s scam magazine sold thru retail outlets to let the public know of theses criminals.

  13. Janice Elvins

Will KontoFX try and use my Drivers License and Credit card details in identity/financial fraud. I sent the £250 before finding out it was a scam.

    • Daniel

It’s not good if they have them just be aware as I’m
Told they use them to take loans out and all sorts of id theft hope you have had no problems so far I’m taking it by now you have cancelled the credit card an reported the scum staff
