SportsBet.io Review

SportsBet functions as an online cryptocurrency casino that enables members to gamble their cryptocurrencies by live sports betting and playing online gambling games. Other games featured on their platform would be League of Legends (LoL), Dota 2 along with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The maximum bet accepted is 100 Bitcoin while the most effective ways to establish communication with this online casino appears to be through their Facebook, Twitter or BitcoinTalk.org profile, according to users.

SportsBet.io is a startup casino operation owned by Luckbox Ent. Ltd, which also happens to be the owners of Bitcasino.io. Headquartered out of Curacao, Timothy John Heath is disclosed as their executive director although there is no trace of him anywhere on the net.

Furthermore, this online casino is licensed by Curacao eGaming mBet Solutions NV which is regulated by the Government of Curacao under license number 1668/JAZ. As many reviews have been eager to point out, Curacao eGaming 1668/JAZ appears to be a worthless license that accepts zero liability or possesses no control over their licensed parties.

SportsBet.io Scam

SportsBet provides an attractive and engaging site template but their operational protocol appears unethical and questionable to say the least.

Numerous reports of online SportsBet’s users have reported theft of funds, manipulation of betting games along with unprofessional customer assistance. One such instance that has drawn much spotlight has been a user who allegedly lost 21.5 bitcoins through gambling with their platform.

While that particular BitcoinTalk forum will go on to reveal that the player managed to retrieve their funds later down the road, it doesn’t take into account the numerous other threads of discussion regarding SportsBet and the reported misdoings they have been allegedly exercising.

Furthermore, the live sports betting featured on their site have not been provably fair while their site lacks an effective and supportive customer support staff.

According to SimiliarWeb, SportsBet.io had a global rank of 189,385 with a Poland rank of 102,143 as of March 4th, 2018. Ranked 313th in the Sports Gambling category, SportsBet has suffered a 52% decrease in monthly visitor traffic. Over 30% of their traffic is referral based.

More likely than not, SportsBet’s significant popularity drop-off can be partially contributed to the excessive amounts of user complaints and the inability for SportsBet to effectively comply and resolve their issues due to poor employment structure.

SportsBet.io does not possess a trustworthy rating according to their BitcoinTalk.org profile and has been deemed as unreliable by many of their previous users.

Given the information disclosed above and SportsBet’s current circumstances, we do not believe that SportsBet.io is a trustworthy cryptocurrency gambling platform.

I do not recommend this bookmaker, I asked support before signing up if KYC was required and they said no. Once I tried to withdraw my funds (just about 50$ in BTC) I got the withdrawal rejected and they asked me IDs.

    Hello,

I introduce myself, my name is Menahem.
I deposited on the site about 200€, I played before the confirmation and I won about 1200€.
    So 1200€ of winnings + my 200€ = about 1400€.
So I waited for 3 confirmations before withdrawing my money.
Once the 3 confirmations are passed (after 30 minutes).
I’m trying to withdraw my money, but what’s going on?
They refuse my withdrawal and ask me to contact support.
I contact the support and ask me to check my account (ID card, selfie…)
Once done after 20 hours of waiting, I receive an email telling me if I have a second account.
I tell them no, I only have one account because it’s the truth.
They send me a message 2 hours later and say that I have created an account called “menahem911” and that it belongs to me.
And that according to their rules, If someone has 2 accounts, balances will be blocked and his account banned.
I still tell them that it is not my account that I have only one account called “carzobo”.
After 24 hours, they tell me that my account “carzobo” and blocked and the money suspended for making double spend on an account named “menahem911” that does not even belong to me.
So at the end I find myself at 0.00 € without my base money and without my earnings.
Nice scam, I advise you to avoid sportsbet.io, at your own risk.

Contact me on my email address for proof if you want. (carzobo@protonmail.com)

    Sincerely.
